A Tradition That Grows With the Community
Every fall, Estrie Aide coordinates the Phoenix de Sherbrooke Teddy Bear Toss, a tradition that grows in popularity year after year. During the game, fans throw stuffed animals onto the ice at the Phoenix's first goal, collecting hundreds of plush toys for children in need.
Plush Toys That Warm the Heart
The collected stuffed animals are then washed, dried, and redistributed to community organizations and local schools throughout the region, allowing many children to receive warmth and comfort during the holiday season. A simple and generous gesture that reflects the Sherbrooke community's commitment to its most vulnerable members.
