Our identity
More than just a store, Estrie Aide is a nonprofit social and circular economy organization that has been serving the Estrie community since 1997. Through its social, economic and environmental missions, the organization creates wealth for the Estrie community by developing community support projects, encouraging social integration and offering clothing, furniture and various household items at affordable prices to people in need.
OUR MISSION
Our mission revolves around three main pillars : people, community and the environment.
People
For Estrie Aide, inclusion is at the heart of everything we do. Job creation and investment in various projects supporting socio-professional integration make our community a place rich in possibilities.
Estrie Aide is open and tolerant of the personal challenges faced by its employees. We want everyone to feel welcome, respected and able to achieve success.
Community
As a nonprofit organization, Estrie Aide reinvests profits directly into the community through various projects of a social, economic and environmental nature.
Notably through a socio-professional integration program, support for organizations that contribute to community development, and a donation program for low-income households.
Environment
For Estrie Aide, preserving the environment is very important. The organization works to maximize the recovery, repurposing and reuse of community donations in order to divert them from landfill.
Every year, more than 285,000 customers count on Estrie Aide to reduce their environmental impact.
OUR VALUES
Estrie Aide's values were defined through a collective process involving all employees.
MUTUAL AID
Estrie Aide has chosen to share and support one another. Through mutual aid, employees can overcome challenges and find concrete solutions.
RESPECT
Estrie Aide has chosen to be attentive to others and to its environment. At Estrie Aide, respect means taking into consideration the actions, words and personality of each person.
TRANSPARENCY
Estrie Aide has chosen to acknowledge its shortcomings and own them sincerely, committing to improve its practices and be more genuine.
AGILITY
